Dr. Ioannis Dimitriou, MD, MSc (MHP), MSc (TCM), PhD (TCM), MLCoM, EDH, PT is an integrative medicine physician with over 25 years of clinical experience across Conventional Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Physiotherapy, Homeopathy and Osteopathy.
He has received extensive training in Athens, Lamia, Tianjin, Prague and London. He holds a Medical Degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a Master’s and PhD in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Tianjin University, an MSc in Mental Health Promotion and Prevention of Psychiatric Disorders, a BSc in Physiotherapy from Charles University in Prague, and a BSc in Physical Therapy from TEI Lamia, as well as diplomas in Homeopathy and Osteopathic Medicine from the London College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is currently working at Gennimatas General Hospital.
In 2026, he served as a consultant at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (India) in a project conducted in collaboration with the WHO Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine Centre, contributing to international initiatives on innovation, digital transformation and evidence mapping in Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine (TCIM).
His work focuses on the integration of evidence-based approaches across medical systems, with particular emphasis on clinical practice integration, innovation frameworks and health system transformation within TCIM.
Dr. Dimitriou provides conventional and integrative evidence-informed care at YinYang Clinic in Athens.
